Landscapes take us away, transporting us to another moment, another place. Colors have an intense effect on us, altering our moods and influencing our thoughts. Diving into a peaceful or stunning place is why I paint. Enveloping myself in the choppy waters of a coastline or reveling in the pastels of a mountain sunrise send me to paradise. These paintings are meant to nudge you out of yourself, because that’s often when we are able to see more clearly. Not to mention, color rocks, so let’s enjoy it!
